Shmuel Baruch, 27, made Aliyah from France along with his family in 2005. He studied at Yemin Orde Youth Village, where his entrepreneurial spirit first awakened.

During his service in special operations units, he established an operational drone team that operated in tactical missions and behind enemy lines. After his release he worked in education. Following the events of October 7 and his reserve duty, he founded a GSO, a company dedicated to building and training tactical drone teams, honouring the legacy of his close friend Yosef Malachi Gedalia.

GSO is a training and force-building organization for operational drone teams. The organization’s mission is to integrate real operational experience with advanced combat doctrine, with the aim of improving the readiness of Israel’s security and defense bodies.

Under his leadership, GSO is cultivating a new generation of technological fighters: operators with a systemic, values-driven, and professional understanding of the modern battlefield.
