Moriya Azulay

Moriya Azulay is the Founder and CEO of Lone Front and a student of Government and Diplomacy at Reichman University. She is active in public diplomacy and has lectured in more than 15 countries. Raised in Ashdod by a single mother in a challenging socio-economic environment, she is the first in her family to pursue higher education and military service. In high school she participated in the “Aharai” program and “Young Ambassadors,” then attended a pre-military academy and served as a lone combat soldier in the Lions of Jordan battalion. After her service she was accepted to a prestigious summer program at the University of Pennsylvania. Upon returning to Israel, a sudden eviction notice during her first semester inspired her to found Lone Front, a nonprofit supporting lone female combat soldiers through housing, scholarships and leadership development.
