איתי פולישוק

Age: 28 | Organization: IDF and Ministry of Defense | Position: Assistant to the Financial Advisor to the Chief of Staff and Head of Budget Directorate

Major Itai Polischuk, 28, is originally from the Jerusalem area. Since the beginning of his military service, he has held a wide range of officer positions in the fields of budgeting and finance, including management of Israeli Air Force budgets at the IDF General Staff and oversight of major Air Force projects, ranging from munitions to force-build up platforms and capabilities that contributed to the Air Force’s operational success.

Itai played a key role in shaping and finalizing a multi-year framework agreement with the Ministry of Finance on budget and manpower, which was signed after more than two years of intensive work and prolonged negotiations.

During the Iron Swords War, and for over two years, Itai has served as Assistant to the Financial Advisor to the IDF Chief of Staff and to the Head of the Budget Directorate. This highly demanding period required round-the-clock work with all relevant national stakeholders to deliver substantial budgetary support for the war effort. In his role, Itai is a central figure responsible for formulating and allocating budgets for the reserve forces, procurement of munitions and military equipment, and all resources required to maintain the readiness and operational capabilities of the IDF and the Ministry of Defense.
