Y., 30, is a graduate of the Talpiot program with an MSc in Physics. She served in the IAF Operations Research Branch in air-defense and air-superiority fields. She later joined DDR&D as System Engineering Branch Head for the Iron Dome program within the HOMA Directorate. During the Iron Swords War she led the system’s technical investigations together with the Air Force and drove rapid wartime development of system enhancements. She received the Chief of Staff’s Technological Citation and the DDR&D Director’s Award for her actions during the war.
