D., 29, is an engineer in the Aerodynamics Division and a master’s student in engineering at the Technion. He began his path at Rafael in 2019 and served in the Aerodynamics Department during his military service, and today he is a team lead who guides complex and groundbreaking projects of national importance. D. is responsible for the characterization of complex dynamic systems, aerodynamic design and modelling of challenging bodies, development of simulations, planning of complex wind tunnel experiments, and evaluation of system performance. Beyond his engineering expertise, D. contributed significantly to combat activities since 7.10 when he stepped up and offered creative and innovative solutions to needs that arose from the battlefield, which proved effective in the field. He leads his team and the many interfaces within Rafael and outside it in a professional and impressive manner, while maintaining high product quality, presenting information and making it accessible.
