Shai Lavi, 28, is the Co-Founder and CPO of Azimut.ai. He began his path as a combat soldier in the Israeli Navy’s Sea Surveillance unit, gaining deep operational knowledge of the maritime domain. After his service he worked on international maritime surveillance projects, where he identified global gaps in maritime awareness, information overload and lack of high quality visual intelligence. This led him to establish, with his partners, a professional training company that provided essential field insights. These insights enabled the creation of Azimut.ai, where he leads the development of Albatross, a maritime visual intelligence platform turning existing cameras into smart intelligence sensors.
