The "30Under30 in Defense" initiative was established during the "Iron Swords War" by Rotem Meital, a security and technology entrepreneur and owner of Rubel Innovation, in collaboration with AroMedia, the leading communication company in the defense sector that operates the ISRAEL DEFENSE website.
The vision behind the initiative is to honor and showcase the most promising young talents in the defense, HLS (Homeland Security), dual-use technology, and aerospace industries, bringing them to broad public attention. The goal is to inspire and attract new generations of professionals to the worlds of defense and security-related high-tech.
The candidates for the list include employees in the defense industry, officers in the security system, entrepreneurs, startup founders, academic researchers, and government employees. The initiative is carried out in partnership with the Luzzatto Group and AroMedia, and sponsored by the POINT By Azrieli Group.
The initiative has many partners and supporters, including the Luzzato group, Elmirate Capital and Agna Capital, military technology unit alumni associations and the 2141 Commanders Association.
Since the beginning of the war, the initiative has received dozens of applications from potential candidates, as well as numerous letters of recommendation from defense industries, senior academics, and top security officials.
